Greene v. ArcelorMittal Plate, LLC
Verdict: $1,000,000
A pipe fitter severely injured in a steel mill was awarded a $1 million verdict after suffering a fall from a defective ladder. Trial Attorney, George G. Rassias, argued during a week long trial that the ladder violated OSHA regulations. The
defense maintained the ladder complied with all applicable regulations. The jury found the defendant steel mill was liable for the plaintiff's injuries and awarded him $1,000,000. The verdict appeared in the April 24, 2012 issue of the Legal Intelligencer. George Rassias has been rated as a SuperLawyer for the years 2010 - 2012 and as a Rising Star for the years 2006 - 2008.
